According to the Department of Health, the 1st stage of the Polio Eradication Campaign has come to an end. The 2nd stage will begin on 2nd March 2015.
During the first stage of the Polio Eradication Campaign, 216,815 children were provided vaccines in 18 zones, while in the second stage 228,209 children will be vaccinated in 17 zones. The second stage will continue until 5th march 2015. The local government has said that strict security measures have been made for the whole Polio Eradication Campaign.
